How To Pray Rosary

There are 3 sections to be followed to understand how to pray Rosary. Section 1 gives you the vocal part, while section 2 will give you the meditation part and section 3 will highlight the various forms of reciting Rosary

Section 1- OVERVIEW OF RECITING ROSARY

Chaplet is recited using ordinary rosary beads of 5 decades.

Part A
(1) Make THE SIGN OF THE CROSS- in the name of the Father,and of the Son, and of the Holy spirit. Amen-
(2) Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty,creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, and was crucified, died and was buried. He descended to the death. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father Almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen


Part B
A decade
THINK OF ONE MYSTERY WHILE PRAYING YOUR DECADE(please refer to section 2- part F)

Lords prayer
Our Father,who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil- amen
(4) Hail Mary: (TEN TIMES)
"Hail  Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed Art  thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now And  at the hour of our death. Amen."
(5) GLORY TO THE FATHER- glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now,and ever shall be, world without end. Amen
(6) FATIMA PRAYER- O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead us all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of Thy Mercy.

4 great mysteries of rosary are JOYFUL,SORROWFUL,GLORIOUS and LUMINIOUS
5 topics are given for each mystery.
Different set of mysteries are recited depending on day.

JOYFUL Mystery(monday+saturday):
Annunciation,
visitation,
nativity,
presentation,
finding child Jesus in temple.

SORROWFUL Mystery(tuesday+friday):
Agony in Garden,
scourging at pillar,
crowning with throns,
carrying of cross,
Crucifixion

GLORIOUS(wensday+sunday):
resurrection,

descent of Holy Spirit upon apostles,
assumption of Holy Mary in to heaven,

SECTION 3 - METHODS OF RECITING ROSARY:

Part G
Various methods of praying ROSARY:

Rosary can be prayed, INDIVIDUALLY, with family or as a group!. When you pray:
(1) enunciate  each word of the Rosary clearly and distinctly. Do not Trample on the heels of the words of anyone with your words.
(2)Specially in a group, Do not speak Over the leader if you are following or the respondent if you are leading The Rosary. Remember that they also are having a conversation with Mary Our Mother and it is not polite to speak when someone else is speaking.
(3) In the Case of the public Rosary there are only two people speaking: the Leader and The respondents. Each is speaking to the Blessed Mother and listening Carefully to her response within their hearts as they meditate on the scene Before them in their consideration of the mystery being spoken of and Interpreted and translated into their lives.

(4) Most attractive method of Individual meditation of Rosary is early in the morning. First thing as you get up before reading news papers or listening to any multimedia! Try and see the enormous benefit and Happiness you gain by yourself under the protection of HOLY MARY!
